- I have been involved in education all of my life: 20 years as a student, 20 years as a teacher and 20 years as co-owner of a teacher's supply store in Texas. You might say I have a passion for education. During my tenure at the store, I conducted hundreds of teacher training workshops. My goal was to encourage, inspire and motivate teachers to have fun while teaching. As I enter the next twenty years of my life, I hope to become a mentor to teachers, store owners and mostly to my grandchildren.
